Designed and constructed for use in the Brewery, the ServoDrive Metering system is used specifically for post fermentation additions to beer.  The system is available in single or multi pump configuration to suit individual application requirements.  All electronic and drive components are housed in a n IP65 rated 316 stainless steel control cabinet. Parts in contact with the product are restricted to 316 stainless steel, delrin, teflon and suitable o-ring seals.

The ServoDrive Metering System is designed for the metering of liquid hop products such as Isohopco2n (isomerised hop extract), Tetraco2n (reduced isomerised hop extract) and hop essences (spicy, floral, citrus, dry, etc.) which can be added directly into a beer stream during a transfer phase.

Parameters, including shot size, cycle rate and count, for control of pump operation are simply set from the operator touch screen via digital scales. Larger companies may prefer the screen to be separately mounted or incorporated into the main control panel. To simplify setting a dedicated page is available for each pump size, chosen from the pump selection list. A range of setting to suit the volume capability of the selected pump is displayed, based on actual results obtained with water. Subsequent fine tuning of the digital scale quickly brings the shot to the precise volume required.

Throughout the batch, the system will consistently deliver high accuracy metering as illustrated in the test results. In other applications, similar accuracies are to be expected with a wide range of air free aqueous and similar products.
